We updated the blog yesterday with some info on Unbox for Amazon Associates.

Please note that, while it is possible to add Unbox Video Downloads to your eStore, it is not an option to search under in the drop-down box for adding content. Rather, you need to search "All Products," and that comes up as one of the options. This should be fixed ASAP if you want these things to catch on! |

aStore is built on top of Amazon's ECommerce Service (ECS), which does not yet support Unbox-specific searches. We are working with them to make this available as soon as possible, but we do not yet have a timeframe in place.
Thanks for the feedback though!

| I was wondering who would be a good person or department to talk to if I was trying to find out information about how a client of mine could possibly sell vodcasts over the Amazon platform. We're unsure if that type of functionality currently exists. |

Wouldn't it be better for the displays to read "Rent Now" instead of "Buy Now" and "Rent from Amazon" instead of "Buy from Amazon"? For Unbox, the word "buy" is confusing, if not misleading for consumers.

I think this is a promising add-on, even though ten percent of $3.99 is scarcely worth chasing. What I would like to do is just put up a generalized link to the Unbox page on Amazon, together with a nice graphic, just to drive traffic. I don't see how to do that! Could someone explain it to me?
The build-a-link tool seems to drive me to an iframe for one specific video.
Thanks! - Dan |

Hi Dan,
We created some banner graphics that would probably do the trick for you.
If that link doesn't work for you, go to Build Links-->Banner Links-->Unbox Digital Downloads.

| Why does Amazon's promotional information say we get 10% on unbox purchases, but I am only getting 4.0-4.02% on the sales? |
