Need Help? Ask an Associate. -  Is it ok to keep ref=nosim in old links?

Since I can dictate where my text links lead, I don't have any need to use ref=nosim anymore (as far as I can tell).

However, I've got many years of links on various sites with ref=nosim - will this present any problem down the road, or am I OK to let those links be?

Seems OK for now. I switched all my old link formats to the new one, though, just in case.

I asked Amazon.com about this and they said that you should start using the new links; however, if you have any old links they will still give you credit for any items sold.
